General Overview

Welcome to Apartment A at Vivenda Oceanis, a beautiful retreat in the prestigious Reserva da Luz estate, just a short walk from the charming village of Praia da Luz. For the first time, we are delighted to offer this stunning property for holiday swap. NB We charge 150 euros fee per stay to cover the cost of our managing agent (cleaning, washing, meet and greet) We are primarily uses this for family and rental but would consider swapping for a ski or diving destination or perhaps another beach type holiday. The Space

This spacious apartment boasts two comfortable bedrooms and bathrooms, making it perfect for families or small groups. Enjoy the luxurious features of a large terrace with 180-degree sea views, ideal for relaxing or dining outdoors. The alfresco dining area is enhanced with sliding screens, offering a sheltered space to enjoy meals in any weather. The master bedroom also opens up to a fabulous private terrace, overlooking the garden and capturing the evening sun until late – the perfect spot for unwinding after a day at the beach. With a stunning shared pool, this apartment offers the perfect blend of comfort, convenience, and tranquility for your next getaway.

Ground floor apartment accessed via 6 steps from a parking area, steps also required to access the pool so not suitable for wheelchair users.

Notes

The apartment is part of a small condominium consisting of 6 apartments and 1 house. Currently 3 of the apartments are rented out for most of the year. The pool is shared between the apartments but never seems busy except in the peak of summer.

Getting to my home

### Directions to Reserva da Luz: #### **By Road** If you're driving to Reserva da Luz, it’s easily accessible from both Faro and Lisbon. From **Faro Airport**, take the A22 motorway west towards Lagos. Exit at **Lagos (A22, IP7)**, and follow signs for **Praia da Luz**. It’s a 1-hour drive (about 85 km). Once in Praia da Luz, head towards the village center, and Reserva da Luz is located just a short distance from the beach, within the exclusive estate. From **Lisbon**, take the A2 motorway south towards the Algarve. Exit onto the A22 towards Lagos, and follow the same directions as from Faro. The drive takes approximately 3 hours (about 300 km). #### **By Rail** For those traveling by train, head to **Faro Railway Station** or **Lisbon's Santa Apolónia Station**. - From **Faro**, take the **Alfa Pendular** or **Intercidades** train to **Lagos**. The journey takes around 2 hours. From the Lagos station, you can take a short taxi ride (10 minutes) to Praia da Luz and Reserva da Luz. - From **Lisbon**, take an **Alfa Pendular** or **Intercidades** train to **Lagos**. The journey is about 4 hours, and once you arrive in Lagos, take a 10-minute taxi ride to Praia da Luz. #### **By Bus** You can take a **Rede Expressos** bus from **Faro** or **Lisbon** to **Lagos**. - From **Faro**, buses leave regularly, with the journey taking around 2 hours. Once you arrive in **Lagos**, take a taxi (10 minutes) to Praia da Luz. - From **Lisbon**, buses are also available, and the trip takes about 4 hours. Upon arrival in **Lagos**, take a short taxi ride to Praia da Luz. #### **By Air** The nearest airport is **Faro Airport (FAO)**, which is approximately 85 km (1 hour by car) from Praia da Luz. - **From Faro Airport**, you can rent a car, take a taxi, or use a shuttle service to reach Reserva da Luz. - **From Lisbon Airport (LIS)**, it's about a 3-hour drive (300 km). Alternatively, you can fly to **Faro** and follow the road directions from there. Once you arrive in Praia da Luz, Reserva da Luz is easily reachable by foot, just a short walk from the village center.

Getting Around

It is possible to stay Vivenda Oceanis without a car if you are fit and don’t mind walking to the beach and back. In summer it can get quite hot so we tend to hire a car to drive to some of the beaches on the west correct catch the breeze and see the surf. We also drive to Lagos for nearest supermarkets etc.
