The Space

Our home features three levels of thoughtfully designed living space. The main floor boasts a high-ceiling living area with a cozy fireplace, a bright and spacious kitchen complete with a kitchen island, and direct access to a fun-filled basement. This lower level is an entertainment haven, offering a workout space, an indoor play area with a climbing wall and hanging structures for kids, and a comfy TV/recreation area. Bedrooms are warmly decorated, offering tranquil retreats after a day of adventure. Outside, our landscaped backyard includes a deck with a dining table, a grill for barbecues, another fireplace for evening relaxation, and a play structure for the kids, making it perfect for family gatherings.

Guest Access

Guests will have access to all three floors of the home, each connected by a full set of stairs. The backyard’s expansive setup is ideal for leisure and play. Entry is seamless and secure; no need for keys as the house can be accessed via a code.

Neighbourhood

Lafayette is a welcoming community and our neighborhood is not only safe but vibrant with activities. There's an incredible farm-themed playground just a short walk from our house and plenty of walking and biking trails! Our local recreation center, which is within walking distance, offers pools and gym classes, and the town library offers a quiet place for reading as well as fun family friendly activities and story times. Throughout the summer, the community comes alive with outdoor concerts and farmers markets.

Getting Around

The main street of Lafayette, with its array of cafes, restaurants, and bars, is just a short walk from our home. The area is extremely bike-friendly, and we're happy to provide guests with access to our collection of adult bikes, kids' bikes, and even an electric bike equipped with monkey bars at the back for two young children. We're also open to organizing a car swap, making it easy to explore more distant attractions.

Hello there! 👋🏻 We're a family of 4 living in Colorful Colorado and looking to do a house swap this summer with someone in London or Dublin. We're a mixed family: I'm Mexican, my husband's American, and both my kids were born in Australia (we lived in Sydney for nearly 6 years). We love traveling and we love expat life, that's why we would like to experience life in London or Dublin this summer to determine if we want to make that our next move.
