Superb charming house, very bright, with garden ideally located 700 meters from the beach, the port and the market. The house is very comfortable and is located in a very quiet street in Sables d'Olonne, the town of Vendée Globe.

The Space

Former fishermen's house, completely renovated and comfortable, consists of a living room, a dining room, an equipped kitchen, three bedrooms, a bathroom, two toilets, a shower in the garden ( convenient for returning from the beach) and small garden with terrace.

Three bedrooms upstairs:

1 adult bedroom 1 bed
1 adult bedroom with 2 beds
1 adult bedroom 1 double bed

Living room with 2 2 and 3 seater sofas that can be used as beds

Fully equipped kitchen: induction hob, American fridge (cold water and ice cubes), oven, Weber gas grill in the garden, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine, television in the living room, bowling greens behind the house etc.

If you come by car, it will find a place in front of the house.

Semi-monthly alternating parking: from the 1st to the 15th of the month: side of the odd numbers of the houses bordering the street // from the 16th to the last day of the month, side of the even numbers.
Everything is within walking distance.

- the embankment
- a Carrefour Market
- a surf spot
- the town hall
- the tourism office
- the ferryman who allows you to reach La Chaume

Notes

The Vendée Globe is a solo, non-stop, unassisted round-the-world sailing race. It takes place every 4 years in Les Sables d'Olonne.

Getting to my home

To come to us you will have the choice between road and train. The city is located 4.5 hours from Paris, 2.5 hours from Le Mans and 1.5 hours from Angers by car. It also has its own SNCF station, served by the Paris-Nantes-Les Sables d’Olonne TGV (3h30 from Paris) as well as by TER.
Our house is 400 meters from the station.

If you come from far away, the plane is another option to reach Les Sables d’Olonne. The two closest airports are located in Nantes and La Rochelle. You will therefore have to finish the road by car or train

Now that our son is grown up and doesn't travel with us so much anymore, we want to travel all over the world.
We have a second home on the Atlantic coast, which we have transformed from a fisherman's house into a modern house with taste and a lot of work and sweat. It is located in Sables d'Olonne, 700 m from the sea and the town centre. We believe that now after enjoying this house a lot, we can exchange this house with other small houses in other countries in the world.
