General Overview

Our home is a much-loved family home with plenty of space to spread out, relax and make yourself comfortable. We’re a family of four, so the house has naturally become a place where everyone has their own space while still having plenty of areas to come together. Upstairs are three of the bedrooms, including our main bedroom with a super king bed and ensuite, a second bedroom with a queen bed and a third bedroom with a king single bed. There is also a separate family bathroom upstairs. Downstairs, there is a fourth bedroom with a king bed and TV, along with a separate toilet and sink. We have several living spaces throughout the house, including a formal lounge, family room with a fireplace and separate dining room. There’s also an office, which is perfect for anyone needing a quiet space to work while away. One of our favourite parts of the house is the large downstairs games room. It’s a lovely space to relax and spend time together, with a pool table, theatre screen, wet bar and fireplace. It’s been the setting for plenty of family movie nights and games! The front of the house has large balconies where you can sit with a coffee and take in the views, including views out towards the ocean. Out the back, we have a large lawn area and outdoor fire pits, which make for a lovely place to enjoy the evenings. This is very much a lived-in, comfortable family home rather than a show home. We love that there are so many different spaces throughout the house, somewhere to come together as a family, somewhere for the kids to play, and plenty of quiet corners when you simply want to relax. We hope that whoever stays here feels comfortable, settles in easily and enjoys our home as much as we do. 🤍

Hello from our family! 👋🏡 We’re a family of four currently based in Adelaide, South Australia, looking forward to exploring new places and enjoying the opportunity that house swapping brings. Our family includes Mum and Dad, a 12-year-old boy and a 9-year-old girl. We homeschool our children, which gives us the flexibility to travel while continuing their education and exploring the world together. Our kids are well behaved, respectful and used to spending lots of time with us as a family. They understand the importance of respecting other people's homes and belongings. My husband and I both own and run our own businesses, which we operate remotely from home. This means we have the flexibility to work from wherever we are and can comfortably settle into a home while continuing with our work and family routine. We’re a clean, tidy and respectful family and take great pride in looking after the spaces we live in. We understand how important your home is to you and would treat it with the same care and consideration that we give our own. As a homeschooling and work-from-home family, we also tend to spend a good amount of time at home during the day. This means your home would be well cared for and regularly occupied rather than simply being used as a base for sleeping. We’re non-smokers and non-drinkers, enjoy a quieter family lifestyle and genuinely love creating a comfortable, welcoming home environment wherever we are. For us, house swapping isn't just about finding somewhere to stay. We love the idea of experiencing different communities, exploring new places as a family and enjoying a more authentic way of travelling. We are completely new to home exchange and haven't done it before. We would love to connect with other families or homeowners who are looking for respectful, reliable people to care for their home.
