General Overview
It faces south, i.e. sunny. Is a perfect size for our family of three. It is easily accessible to Boston by public transportation, is solar powered, has an EV charger. It is small, but large enough to entertain and has more than one sitting area and two floors. In an area of 2-3 family homes, it is one of a few single family homes. We have great neighbors and visitors including rabbits, various birds, and a mother turkey with young each year. We have a wonderful terrace and garden with flowers blooming during the season. It is quiet, but the busy squares - Porter, Union, Davis, and Harvard are all within walking distance.
The Space
The old part of the house (1848) is two rooms stacked on two floors. A kitchen was added and then we added an addition on the other side of the kitchen for offices and more living space. There are 2 bedrooms with a shared full bath, a bathroom with shower and sitting room downstairs with sleeper couch. All wood floors with rugs. No pets.
Guest Access
2 floors. One bathroom is accessible with a walker or wheelchair and has support bars. The main entrance is 2 steps and then a short riser to the ground floor. There is off street parking if our car is with us.
