Welcome to our spacious retreat, located just a 5-minute walk from the renowned Playa Negra beach in Puerto Viejo, Costa Rica. Nestled amidst the country’s natural beauty, our home offers a warm and comfortable space to relax and enjoy the tranquility of the environment. Our neighborhood is alive with wildlife—you might spot monkeys, toucans, parrots, sloths, iguanas, hummingbirds, and other local creatures. Rest assured, they are content to carry on with their daily routines without intruding on yours. Our home is conveniently located a 5-minute drive from Puerto Viejo, where you’ll find a variety of restaurants, cafés, and boutiques. We’re also just 10 minutes from Cocles Beach, a world-famous surfing destination. Additionally, our location offers easy access to waterfalls, national parks, and essential amenities such as pharmacies and 24-hour medical clinics. For travelers, reaching us is simple. You can fly into Costa Rica’s capital, San José, and take a private or shared shuttle directly to our home. Alternatively, you can fly to the nearest domestic airport in Limón, Talamanca, which is just a 45-minute drive away. We’re happy to assist with travel arrangements or any other details to make your stay seamless. We maintain our home with care and ask our guests to do the same. A $60 cleaning fee is required after check-out, ensuring the home is spotless for all our guests. We are particularly interested in long-term exchanges (one month or more) outside of Costa Rica. Having lived and traveled extensively, we value respect and care for shared spaces.
