General Overview

Our home is bright and cozy and has an inner-city beach house vibe. It is in a cul de sac, so it is quiet and restful.

The Space

Our house has two living spaces and a study. It has a lovely peaceful backyard area, with a barbecue, and two bedrooms with an extra bed in the study. The open plan kitchen is well equipped and a delightful place to cook.

Guest Access

There are two steps up to the our home and two steps within the home. We have a very private front and garden.

Notes

We have an independent cinema about a ten minute walk away. One of the best restaurants in Australia, Attica, is less than a five minute walk around the corner. Melbourne is very flat to it is easy to walk everywhere!

Neighbourhood

St Kilda East is an inner city area of Melbourne six kilometres from the CBD. It is a vibrant and diverse inner-city suburb of Melbourne that offers a uniquely charming living experience. This multicultural neighborhood is a peaceful gem that combines residential tranquility with rich cultural depth. There are parks everywhere in Melbourne. The famous St Kilda Beach is about a ten minute drive away. It's a gorgeous place to walk along the promenade or pier, have an icecream and maybe see some penguins.

Getting to my home

It is about a 40 minute drive from the airport to our house. It is a seven minute walk to our local train station, Ripponlea station. Our area is also well served by trams.

Nearest airport

Tullamarine is our nearest airport. it is 27 kilometres away.

Getting Around

Our home is a half hour walk to Elwood beach and a 15 minute walk to lots of shops. There are loads of fun bars restaurants in Windsor which is two stops on the train.

JMC

We are Stephen and Judi and are keen travellers. We have an 18 year old daughter who may join us on some trips. We'd love to do European exchanges in November, December and January. Due to the nature of our work, we may not know our exact plans until later in the year. We're interested in getting to know a neighbourhood when we travel, so longer exchanges would really suit us. I enjoy swimming in the sea, my husband likes the country and we both love an inner city lifestyle. We're excited to revisit places we know but also eager to discover places we've never thought of. Looking forward to what's ahead.
