Ros's apartment is simply wonderful. It is large, comfortable and beautifully looked after, with an exceptional collection of art. The balcony has a glorious view across the expanse of the bay; the perfect place to sit and watch the sun set into the sea with a cold glass of something. Only with PLU could we dream of staying in such a place.
After we had hosted Ros earlier in the year we were welcomed like old friends and really felt at home from the moment we arrived.
Melbourne is one of the world's great cities. Shame there was nothing on in the MCG but we did the tour. Highlights were a foodie walking tour and a sunset cruise on the St Kilda Ferry to se the penguins - both highly recommended.
