General Overview

Our beautiful home is a great base to explore the Jurassic cost. Based in the Saxon town of wareham, we are a short car or bus journey to the famous Durdle door and Lulworth cove. Fossil hunting is a must during your stay, and our great little town of wareham has so many beautiful spots to walk, swim, fish, row a boat, paddle board, I could go on! The house is a small but perfectly formed modern 3 bed house. It sleeps 6 with open plan living and toilet downstairs, and 3 bedrooms (with Aircon) and bathroom upstairs. We have a courtyard garden and access to our hot tub in our garden next door (only available when booked prior to arrival if simultaneous swap or at allocated times of non simultaneous as it’s our family garden). Equipped with kitchen utensils, bedding, towels most of what you would need for a comfortable stay.

The Space

Our house is open plan, small but perfect for family and friend groups alike. We are in a residential area so we would ask that you respect our neighbours with no loud noise after 9pm. It is a pet friendly house with a courtyard garden. under 10 minute walk to the train station and on a regular bus route

Neighbourhood

Our neighbourhood is a quiet, family, residential area. There are lovely forest walks within a 5 minute stroll and more around if you have access to a car. The local town centre is a 10 minute walk with many lovely pubs, cafes, restaurants. There is also a river that you can hire a boat or paddle board to explore the local beauty. We are within a 15 minute drive to Studland beach for more water based activities.

Getting to my home

the easiest way to arrive at our home is by car or rail (direct access from London Waterloo)

Bournemouth Airport (30 minute drive)

Getting Around

You catwalk or drive to the local shops and town centre. There is also the option of the bus or train to the larger towns of Poole/Bournemouth and Southampton

Lucy

We are a busy family of 4 plus our beautiful dog Peggy (pegs will occasionally join us on a break if in the uk). Non smokers, who enjoy all the yummy food from each area (our youngest is coeliac so any local gluten free recommendations welcomed). Looking to explore a bit more of the uk and Europe over the next few years.
