General Overview
We live in a three bedroom, 2.5 bathroom large townhouse in what is known as the Seven Mile Beach corridor in Grand Cayman. The house has all the amenities you would expect and is conveniently located 5 minutes walk from Governors Beach which is the most popular (and beautiful) part of Seven Mile Beach.
The Space
One large master bedroom with ensuite, two smaller bedrooms which share a bathroom. Large family room, kitchen and dining room.
Guest Access
Please note that all bedrooms are located on the 2nd floor and the stairs are quite steep due to high ceiling. If you have any mobility issues, we would not recommend.

Richard's home was perfectly situated within walking distance to the best beach in Cayman: 7 Mile Beach. It was a short easy walk (but heads up crossing the street during rush hour) and landed us on the nicest and least busy part of 7 Mile Beach. We actually really loved the two restaurants that are also within a 3 minute walk from Richard's: Mykonos Steak House and Island Naturals. Island Naturals had THE best breakfast I've ever had!! In that same little plaza is a very convenient well stocked little grocery store that carries I think anything you can think of. Including beer and liquor. And it's on the way to the beach! Open 24 hours! The condo itself was clean, comfortable and provided all the basic necessities. The one thing it didn't have was a coffee maker. There was an espresso machine for those that drink espresso. The back yard and deck were small but very quiet, very relaxing and had a nice view. We used the pool once but for the most part went to the beach as it was just such a beautiful beach! The beds were very comfortable, so comfortable that my husband now wants to buy a new mattress. Ensuite bathroom in the master bedroom was very nice. Honestly the condo had everything you needed. Couches were very comfortable for relaxing in after a day out. Communication with Richard was super easy. Door access is by a code so you don't ever have to worry about losing a key. We rented a car and toured the entire island and were able to park it just out front across from the driveway. Any questions I had for Richard, he was quick to respond. Overall we had a wonderful stay at Richard's and hope to return one day to Grand Cayman! -
My stay at Richard’s townhome in Grand Cayman was fantastic. The home is stunning—beautifully maintained, well-equipped, and incredibly comfortable. The kitchen had everything I needed, and the bed was so comfortable that I slept like a log every night. Richard had mentioned the steep stairs in his listing, but I found them very manageable, with solid railings on both sides and a broad base—nothing like the narrow, steep stairs you sometimes find in old Massachusetts homes. We enjoyed the pool and even sat outside by the canal. The location was perfect! A couple of grocery stores were just a short walk away, and plenty of great restaurants were within easy walking distance. The beach was also a short walk. I work while I travel, and I was super comfortable using the dining room table as my workspace. The WiFi was solid, making it easy to get work done. I traveled with Melissa Stroud, another PLU member I had only met in December 2024 when she dog-sat for me. While I worked, Melissa loved walking Seven Mile Beach daily—one of the most incredible beaches I’ve ever seen. The sand was unbelievably soft, and the walks were breathtaking. In the evenings, we enjoyed beautiful sunsets and drinks at some fantastic spots, including the Ritz and the Westin. The hotels didn't mind if we used the hotel lounge chairs while enjoying the beach. Richard was incredibly laid-back and easygoing, especially considering this was his first home exchange. He responded quickly whenever we had a question, making the stay even more seamless. I look forward to hosting Richard and his wife when they visit Manhattan Beach! I would return in a heartbeat and highly recommend Richard’s home to anyone looking for a wonderful stay in Grand Cayman!
