We live in a big (for the UK) 3/4 bedroom bungalow in a village on the River Dee estuary, 15 kms NW of the Roman city of Chester.
The space
We completely rebuilt our big 3/4 bedroom bungalow 15 years ago and have since used it successfully on a number of House exchanges with both NZ and Aus. The house sleeps 5 or 6 with 2 bathrooms. There is a large kitchen / diner, large lounge, large south facing conservatory or dining room.
Guest access
You are free to use the whole house and gardens and help yourself to any fruit and veggies in season there. Often on exchanges we tidy up and put everything into my office and lock it for privacy. Accessibility for the disabled is well catered for with no stairs, a ground floor walk-in shower room, high toilet and bright grab rails.
Notes
We are open to a NON-SIMULTANEOUS EXCHANGE anywhere but actively need to visit our family and grandchild in Sydney's Inner West

Neighbourhood
We have excellent neighbours who are friendly, helpful but not intrusive. We often ask our best friends up the road to show new Exchangers around if we do a simultaneous swap. They are more than happy to answer any questions that you may have.
Little Neston is a small village and has a small supermarket 100 m away in next road. You can walk 9 minutes across fields to Neston,or drive in 3 mins. This larger village has everything you would need as a visitor: 3 supermarkets, excellent butcher, 3 pharmacy, 2 doctor's surgeries (we don't charge for emergency treatment), 3 dental surgeries, 6 excellent coffee shops, (YES 6 ) 2 post offices. heaps of hairdressers and pubs.
Getting to my home
As frequent international travellers we find Manchester (MAN) Airport serves all our needs , both near and long haul.
Daily direct flights to both USA, Canada , Africa and Australia as well as many EU countries
Nearest airport
MAN is about 60 kms, 50 mins drive along the M56 Motorway (Freeway)
Getting around
We prefer to exchange cars as well. We have a 2019 hybrid Hyundai Ioniq, carries 5 + luggage in comfort. It is VERY economical as it has e battery power + petrol.
There is a bus 100 m away to take you north to LIVERPOOL and the Wirral peninsula or another to take you south to CHESTER. A train (10 mins walk) goes north to LIVERPOOL or south to WALES. From Chester by train, you can be in the Centre of LONDON in less than 2 hrs. Glasgow and Edinburgh in SCOTLAND are not much further by train.
Within 60 minutes drive you can be visiting ancient castles in N WALES or the World Heritage sites of Caernarvon, Conway and Beaumaris Castles. Liverpool is about 25 mins drive away, home to The Beatles and a famous football team in Blue. For the tourist, it has a lot more to offer than its neighbour, Manchester, about 60 minutes away. Manchester area is home to many good Rugby League Clubs + local Rugby Union side, Sale Sharks and International cricket ground Old Trafford. (oh, they also have 2 football teams)
