General Overview

Welcome to our beautiful home in the highly desirable area of Manly. We are located 200m from Big Manly beach, Manly Sailing club, Manly park/playground and a short walk to our little village with cafes/restaurants/ shops. Being located on the beautiful Hibiscus Coast means we are within minutes to 5 stunning beaches. Big Manly, Little Manly, Arkles Bay, Tindalls Bay and Stanmore bay are all approx 2-5 mins away! There are beaches in every direction! We are a 10 min drive to Orewa which is a popular busy beach with many cafes, restaurants, shops and bars! We have some stunning Regional Parks close by, Shakespeare and Wenderholm are 2 of our favourites. Our home has great indoor/outdoor flow, a beautiful garden, a spa and is fully fenced with gates. We have lots of kids toys! We love entertaining and hosting so we are really set up for outdoor living and entertaining. You can catch the ferry into town and out to some islands from the marina about 10 mins away.

The Space

On the bottom level is our open plan kitchen, lounge and dining. Also laundry and our master suite- master bedroom, ensuite and walk in wardrobe. Upstairs there are 2x bedrooms and a bathroom. One of the bedrooms has a King Single bed with a single trundle bed underneath and the other has a cot. We can move the single trundle bed into the bedroom with a cot to make 2x single rooms if needed! We also have a sleep out that has 1x Queen Bed a couch that pulls out into another Queen bed with a TV and toilet.

Getting to my home

Auckland International Airport is around 50 mins to our home. Getting around Auckland without a car is rather tricky so we would definitely recommend hiring a car so you can make the most of our beautiful country!

Getting Around

You will definitely benefit from renting a car. Public transport is available but having a car would be great!

Kate

A kiwi family of four! Mum, Dad, Harry (3.5) and Gracie (1.5). We absolutely love to travel and we can’t wait to show our children our wonderful world. We are very social and love spending time with other families and friends, we enjoy the outdoors with lots of picnics, walks and beach days, we love dinner parties/BBQ’s- anything with good company and food really! We are very house proud and really love a tidy home. We are very close with my parents so may ask at times if my parents are able to come with us, we will always check prior! My husband, Matt is an airline pilot and I am currently a stay at home mum (also studying for my commercial pilots license), because of this we have a pretty flexible schedule and are often available for last min exchanges. We really want to maximise this time we have before our son starts school so are always open to new places! We get staff travel on Air New Zealand so we are always keen on destinations that Air NZ flies to but always open to other places as well! We are so excited to be part of this platform and can’t wait to meet new people and start this new way of travelling!
