Summertime is prime time for Cape Cod. I love that our home is off the beaten track and before the bridge because there is less traffic to contend with, and it's a great pivot point to visit Providence, Boston, and all the towns on the Cape. Our home was built in the 1980s and has been well maintained. It is comfortable, with central a/c, a spacious kitchen, and a light-filled sun room. We have complete privacy from one great neighbor and partial privacy from our other, very considerate neighbor. A brief walk down the block brings you to a tiny association beach, suitable for kayaking, and an association walking trail that leads into other trails. At the end of the road is a great Audubon property with walking paths to the bay, canal views, and wooded trails. There is a town beach for swimming just a 7-minute bike ride away, and another one about 10 minutes away. The drive to our home wends its way past cranberry bogs. At the same time, we are close to grocery stores and other amenities. Our most recent upgrade was installing a seashell path in the backyard.

We are a professional couple in our fifties. We moved to Cape Cod after a few decades in NYC, and now live in Wareham, the gateway to the Cape. We have two ginger cats.
People Like Us is the world's most trusted home exchange community. We believe in sharing, trust, generosity, respect, communication, equality, cooperation, honesty, hospitality, friendship, flexibility and adventure. We take pride in our homes and we care about the environment in which we live: our village, city, country and our planet. We care about the ethos of home exchange and we do it because we love the experience and the friendships that it generates.
