Neighbourhood
We live in a quiet cul de sac neighbourhood of only 6 houses. It is a 20 minute walk in to the centre of Tralee town. The nearest beautiful beach is Fenit which is a 20 minute drive and that beach links on to several other amazing walking beaches north of Fenit, such as Banna and Ballyheigue. A coastal off-road cycle Greenway runs from Tralee town to Fenit.
The Arnold Palmer designed golf course of Tralee Barrow is a 20 minute drive.
Nearest airport
The nearest airport is Farranfore Airport which is a 15 minute drive from our home. Tralee is also accessed by Shannon airport (1 hour and 45 minutes away) and Cork airport (1 hour and 30 minutes away)
Getting Around
There is a great Shopping Retail Park only a 5 minute drive that has all the main stores that a large commercial retail park has to offer.

KATE
Hi there,
We live in the West of Ireland in County Kerry which hosts some of the most spectacular scenery in Ireland. We are both in financial services.
Our children have left home now and we like to travel. We would like to exchange our home with other like minded people. I am happy to consider dates if you wish to contact me.
"Hi, there are just 2 of us and we are only looking for 3-4 days at either end of this time slot. So it can’t be in the middle. Many thanks, Kate"

People Like Us is the world's most trusted home exchange community. We believe in sharing, trust, generosity, respect, communication, equality, cooperation, honesty, hospitality, friendship, flexibility and adventure. We take pride in our homes and we care about the environment in which we live: our village, city, country and our planet. We care about the ethos of home exchange and we do it because we love the experience and the friendships that it generates.
Fenit Lighthouse, 20 minute drive. Organised boat, sea swimming and kayak trips to the island available in the summer months.
Brandon Point, 50 minute drive.
Tralee Barrow Golf Club is an 18-hole links golf course designed by Arnold Palmer. Visitors can book tee times. It is a 20 minute drive from my home.
The summit of Brandon. The mountain can be climbed from the Dingle side following white pegged markers all the way up.
Dunquin on the famous Slea Head drive to the west of the Dingle Peninsula.
The road down to Dunquin Pier to get the ferry over to the Blasket Islands.
Blennerville Windmill and Museum is only a 30 minute walk away. The port of Blennerville was the main port of emigration from County Kerry during the Great Famine (1845-1848). The visitor centre houses a fascinating display on Irish emigration history including models of the infamous coffin ships. Well worth a visit. You can also go up to the top of the windmill.
Tralee is a vibrant town with lost of pubs and restaurants. Many pubs provide music at nightime.
