Our ocean front cottage is an a beautiful, quiet neighbourhood 10 minutes from all the amenities of Sechelt BC. There are hiking trails town to the beach, where you will find yourself immersed in the Wild West coast beauty. Across the street are beautiful, meandering trails through the rainforest. We have a park and corner store within walking distance as well. At night, the lights from Vancouver Island twinkle across the Salish Sea while you take in the breathtaking view of the stars in this secluded, peaceful location. Our family loves to explore the rainforest parks of Cliff Gilker and Hidden Grove, and we love exploring the many trails and waterfalls the Sunshine Coast has to offer!
The Space
Completely redesigned and recently renovated, our cottage is cozy and in pristine condition. There’s a full kitchen, well stocked for all your baking and cooking needs. We have 3 bedrooms, with the middle bedroom being a cozy child’s room (with extra insulation to be nice and quiet). All bedrooms have beautiful views. The main bath has a beautiful soaker tub overlooking the snow capped mountains and ocean, as well as a large walk in shower. Our cottage is on 1.67 acres, and has a nice flat yard for kids to play as well as the trail to explore down to the beach for those in hiking condition. Once you’re on the beach, it’ll be just you for miles in every directions, with lots to explore!
Guest Access
One level, 974 sq feet. Two full bathrooms, a large deck, and pristine mountain and ocean views.
Notes
While our home is all on one level, and is kid friendly, we do not have baby gates on the deck and the yard is not fenced. Our children are elementary aged, and play freely in the back yard, but toddlers would need to be supervised in the yard.
Getting to my home
Once you fly into Vancouver, the beautiful Sunshine Coast is a quick, enjoyable 40 minute ferry ride. Then you can sight see your way up to HalfMoon Bay!
We are a 10 minute drive to the central town of Sechelt.
