Neighbourhood

I can best describe our neighbourhood this way - In one day, you could take a walk/run a circuit around the lagoon just behind our home, stop at a cafe along the way for a coffee, continue on home. Relax and have brekkie in the sun room, read the papers, walk up to Freshwater shops for lunch or picnic/swim at the beach, do some window shopping, then walk home. Or perhaps, go for a bike ride or a surf. Evening could be a barbeque dinner or order a meal via ubereats ( it could be Italian, Thai, Japanese.... the list is long) and catching up on a TV program or a stroll along the beach boardwalk. You will sleep well tonight!

Kingsford Smith (Sydney) is 30km, 40 minute drive

Getting Around

Uber and taxi can be accessed at the front door. Public Transport is very good with buses to Warringah Mall Shopping Centre, Manly Beach and Wharf and Dee Why every 20 - 30 minutes and 50 metres from our front door. You can easily walk to cafes, restaurants and local gelato, clothing shops (15 minute walk, 5 minutes bus trip). Warringah Mall, our large shopping centre, does require a short trip by bus (10 minutes) or car (7 minutes).

We are a semi-retired couple who love to travel. Hubby loves the cricket and I love gardening. We are empty nesters and enjoy concerts, history, long distance walking, learning about different cultures and continuing to brush up on my Italian and French languages. We are very tidy, house proud and non-smokers.
