General Overview

Our home is set up for comfort and fun. We have a big, cozy L shaped couch and a 55 inch TV. Our galley kitchen comes with a coffee maker, steamer, air fryer, blender, toaster, and modern stove/oven and fridge. The main bedroom is spacious with a vaulted ceiling and two small balconies that overlook a tree-lined neighborhood and give a view of pink skies at sunset. The townhouse is in a neighborly residential community with a heated pool, hot tub, small playground and three tennis courts - never crowded. The best part: the beach is just over a mile away! Walk, drive, or take the bike down. Or you can take the two paddleboards to Mission Bay, just 3 miles away.

The Space

The main living area, kitchen, half bath and porch are on the first floor. The second floor has a full bath - tub and dual vanity - and a large master bedroom with a queen bed and two small balconies. There's a two car garage at the bottom level, with a washer and dryer. Both the large master bedroom and living room can fit a queen air mattress for extra guests. The couch is comfortable for sleeping, too. We have an office on the second floor that could be used as a very small second bedroom if needed, and can put in a queen mattress for longer swaps.

Guest Access

The front entrance has about 5 stairs to the door, and the garage entrance has a full staircase up to the kitchen. There is a community pool, hot tub, and tennis/pickleball courts.

Notes

Our sweet little dog Murphy lives with us, and we can either take him with us during an exchange if the space is pet friendly, leave him at home if you're willing to watch him, or have a friend take him while we're swapping homes.

Getting Around

Stumps family marketplace, a full grocery story, is just across the street. Several cute coffee shops, taco stands, and restaurants are within a block or two. The shining star, dining-wise, is the Italian restaurant Caesarina, which is an award-winning, best-of San Diego spot! It's just over a mile to Ocean Beach, which has many volleyball courts, open sandy beach and grassy park areas, and lots of cool restaurants, bars, and shops! Sunset Cliffs - a stunning location to watch sunsets - is just another few miles up the road. A short drive will take you to a variety of San Diego neighborhoods like Little Italy, Hillcrest, Gaslamp, Pacific Beach, and La Jolla.

Hi! My husband Kyle and I have been sharing a home and traveling the world together for over a decade.
