General Overview

We have lived here 3 years now and are slowly making it better and better, we recently updated our outdoor alfresco area so it is now great for entertaining. We are centrally located between the best swimming areas in the east with Maroubra, Malabar and Little Bay to the east and La Perouse, Yarra Bay and Sans Souci to the south west, only a short 5-10 minutes drive or bus ride allows you to have any type of water experience you desire, surf, paddle board, jet ski or fishing.

The Space

We have a semi detached 2 story home with 3 bedrooms. Living areas downstairs and bedrooms upstairs, main with ensuite and spectacular views on the paper mill steam chimney and Botany shipping containers in the distance. We have a long elevated backyard and living area separate to kitchen, with dining that opens up into the deep elevated backyard. Outdoor entertaining area with barbeque and alfresco dining area. We also have basketball hoop for kids, option to bring out the ping pong table also.

Guest Access

2 floors, Living areas downstairs with internal laundry and 3rd toilet. Sleeping areas upstairs. Some stairs at entrance and stairs up into the backyard. There is a driveway out the front with parking for 1-2 cars.

Neighbourhood

There is a Woolworths supermarket within 10 minutes walk or 2-3 minutes drive. On the man road you wild find a few great restaurants like Vitaly (Italian) or St Blaize (French) Hotel Matraville has great pub food and there is a lawn bowls club behind the main street with RSL club type food. There are 2 great parks within walking distance. We are close to a large Westfields Eastgardens with specialty shops.

Getting to my home

Most people have cars in this area and tend to drive but the buses on the main road 5 minutes walk away are also very convenient. There are buses to the city and to Maroubra or Westfields Eastgardens.

Nearest airport

we are 10 minutes drive from Sydney airport and we don't get any noise from the planes.

Getting Around

We are very close to the 392 and 309 bus lines, they can take you into the city within 40 mins or you can change at Kensington and catch the light rail into Central, Town Hall or Circular Quay.

Mel

Active and creative family of 4. We have always lived by the beach, our boys enjoy all types of water sports from surfing to fishing. We are very social and active members of the community, enjoy meeting new people and exploring new places. We also have a lil doggy named Koda who is a special part of our lives and brings us so much joy and fulfilment.
