General Overview

Our space offers the perfect balance of tranquil riverside living and easy access to the vibrant energy of London. The stunning river views and the sunsets, are a constant reminder of how lucky we are to live here. The open-plan living space with its minimalist modern decor feels both spacious and cozy, with natural light pouring in from the floor-to-ceiling windows. Whether we are lounging on the recliner sofa, gazing at the water, or enjoying a morning coffee on the balcony overlooking the Thames Barrier, it’s our little slice of peace amidst the hustle and bustle of the city.

The Space

The master bedroom, with its super king bed and ensuite, feels like a private retreat, and the second bedroom is perfect for younger guests or as a study with its pull-out double bed. The kitchen is well equipped and there is an extendable dining table to seat 6-8 people.

There is are 2 lifts. the bldg is accessed via a fob and there is an intercom service to let visitors in

Neighbourhood

We overlook the Thames Barrier. The bldg has the river in the front and the docks at the rear The bldg has access to a park next door. LCY and Excel are under 15 min walk. Canary wharf is under 10 mins cab ride away. London sights are easily accessible via DLR & Tube.

Getting to my home

Poonton Docks DLR is the closest transport link. Its a 8 min walk from the DLR. You can cut through the park to get home

Nearest airport

London City Airport is a 15 min walk or 5 min cab ride.

Getting Around

There is are local grocery stores a few mins walk away. Restaurants are in the royal wharf dvlpt next door. Big supermarkets will delivery home. Tesco is a 8 min drive.

Bay

Deeg and Bay here! The travel bug hit us hard when we flash packed for 14 months across the gringo trail in South America in 2013. We've had itchy feet since. Good karma was on our side as we managed to escape when Covid was still a dodgy rumour. We stayed in Central America, Mexico and S E Asia for a glorious 4yrs. We are back in our London apartment to recharge for a year, filled with gratitude and a conviction that life isn't about the rat race. We are sunset chasers and gravitate towards living by beaches in warm weather. We love setting up temporary homes in new countries in the hope we will one day make a permanent shift. In the mean time, we make memories, one trip at a time.
