General overview

Our home is a 1910s built home that was stripped down to the studs and rebuilt in 2020 to become the welcoming open floor plan with beautiful bathrooms and a huge chefs kitchen while maintaining the historic standards that our neighborhood requires.

Neighbourhood

Come visit downtown Fort Worth, Fairmount! Diverse, residential Fairmount is bordered by West Magnolia Avenue, a buzzing strip lined with intimate restaurants serving everything from tapas and sushi to Thai and Mexican food. A mix of low-key dive bars, brewpubs and craft cocktail spots are popular with a hip young crowd. The large Fairmount-Southside Historic District has charming, tree-lined streets of bungalows dating from the late 1800s to the 1920s. If you like to walk to an indie coffee shop, visit what I consider the most beautiful and well-designed Zoo, enjoy botanical gardens, want to experience an authentic Stockyards cattle-drive and soak up the lazy family-friendly culture of the Modern West, come to Fort Worth!

Nearest airport

DFW airport is about 30 minutes away from us and can be reached by car, train, or ride shares.

Getting around

Our neighborhood is one of the most walkable in the area, and bikeshare systems are a short walk away! There’s also plenty of street parking downtown.

Hannah

We are a young family who loves to travel internationally. Dad works online with flexibility, kids aren’t in school yet, and mom only has a few days of work a month! We’re huge nature lovers, and enjoy a cottage lifestyle in the middle of the city. We’re homebodies but explorers. We love to cook, bake, and take long walks. We’ve lived abroad in Asia, and visited Europe several times and would love to share travel with our daughters more!
