General Overview
We have a large and modern home with high standards in Tønsberg - Norway's oldest city.
The house is presented as a very modern, architect-designed home with high standards and all amenities.
It is situated on a large, sunny plot with a lovely garden and several beautiful outdoor spaces. The house also features multiple terraces and rooftop terraces. The property is very private.
We are a short distance from beautiful beaches and Norway’s oldest town, Tønsberg.
We are close to the Oslo Fjord and Færder National Park, with its stunning archipelago.
Only a 1-hour journey from Oslo and just 20 minutes from the nearest airport, Torp (TRF). Excellent bus and train connections.

The Space
The house has four bedrooms with double beds (2 of the rooms have 120cm beds), three bathrooms, big modern kitchen with everything you need to make a nice food together.
A very nice living room with direct access to patio/terrace and a big sunny garden. Also direct access to two sunny roof terraces with great view.
The house also have a basement living room (sleeping room) a perfect movie room, washing room and an extra bath room an wc.
It also features a large plot with many outdoor spaces, barbeque, outdoor dining area and a built-in terrace and a big lawn.

Grocery stores in walking distance.
Nice woods for walking or running.
Bus connection to the city have high frequency.
1,5 km to the most beautiful beaches.
Ringshaug beach - very Nice and famous sandy beach. Very nice for families and also fantastic for wind surfing and kiting.
Færder national park - our beautifull archipelago. Stretches from right south of Tønsberg and down to "The Worlds End". There are ferries out to some of the Islands. And it is also easy to get around some of the islands by car.
CITY - only 3,5 km to the city Centre. Lots of nice restaurants and lots of shopping possibilities.
Tønsberg is the oldest town in Norway and you can find several interesting museums and POI for those interesseres in history. Both from the time of the nordic Vikings and also a lot of the old times in Norway.
GOLF
There are 5 very Nice golf cources within 12 km from our house.
TØNSBERG - ALL YEAR
Although Tønsberg is a perfect summer town, there is plenty to explore all year round. In winter, cross country ski trails are prepared just 25 minutes from our house. There is also a ski resort in Kongsberg (1 hour by car). We also experience winter in Tønsberg, and some years there can be plenty of snow (but no guarantee ;-)

It is very easy to come to our house:
CAR:
3.5 kilometers from Tønsberg centre.
98 kilometers from Oslo
BUS
We have excellent bus connections to our house. The bus stop is only 200 meters away. Buses run several times per hour, and it takes just 6 minutes to reach Tønsberg city center.
TRAIN
There are very good train connections to both Torp Airport-TRF (20 minutes) and Oslo (1 hour).
WALK / RUN / BIKE
Nice area for walking, biking and running. Nice forrests, beaches and walking paths to the city.
Nearest airport
We have an international airport only 20 minutes from the house. Torp (TRF).
OSL (Oslo) is also very easy to reach by direct train going directly to Tønsberg - ca 1,5 hour.

Hildegunn og Thomas
Hello. We are an active family of five. Hildegunn & Thomas + our fine teenagers aged 16, 18, and 22.
Hildegunn is a certified Orthotic and Prosthetic Technician and work in company i Tønsberg.
Thomas is working in design and marketing and is the founder of an design-/advertising agency employing 15 People.
The youngest teenager go the secondary school and the midle teenager go to sports college with fotball as major.
Our oldest kid is already a educated Engineer.
We love being in our house with our family and with friends. We also spend a lot of time sailing with our sailing boat and also go the the mountains in our cabin close to Gaustatoppen. We all go skiing - both downhill, Randoneé and cross country. The whole family also enjoys playing golf - and would like to play around the world.
And we love to travel and explore different cultures. We also like to guide our guests about how to explore Tønsberg, Oslo and many other places in Norway. We have travelled a lot in our own country.
We are completely new to home swapping and are signing up with PLU in 2024. We look forward to getting to know a lot of PLUs in the near future.
