Neighbourhood

We live in a cul-de-sac on the edge of a nature reserve. In our neighborhood it is very quiet and traffic-free. Children can play outside and long walks can be taken in the Hüttener Berge Nature Park or bike tours through the Schlei Nature Park. Within walking distance we have a grocery store, a great baker who still makes everything himself (try the bread, that's special), a medical center, a pharmacy, a BMX track, a sailing harbor, tennis and soccer courts as well as many beautiful forest paths and the beach. We are only a short drive from the beautiful coastal village of Eckernförde with its beautiful promenade and great beaches.

Distance to Hamburg Airport - 1:20 hours

Getting Around

Much can be reached on foot in Fleckeby. We also have some bicycles available in the shed (unless we use them ourselves). However, bicycles can also be rented via the app (https://www.donkey.bike/cities/schlei-region/) directly in the village. Otherwise, there is an hourly bus in the direction of Eckernförde or Schleswig. By arrangement, we can also make our second car (small car for 4 people) available for home exchange.
