Our home is stylishly furnished with both mid-century and modern furniture, and plenty of artful touches from our travels. I am secretly bougie (Abraham would say it's not a secret!), so our bed is a divine pillow-cloud you'll never want to leave.
Our kitchen is fully equipped with all the fixings: All Clad and Le Creuset pots and pans, a Vitamix, Kitchenaid Stand Mixer, and dishwasher (former chef here! 👩🍳).
The space
Our bedroom has a queen bed w/ high-quality down duvet, linen bedspread, and the comfiest pillows. We can make space in the closet for your belongings, and there is a projector in there as well in case you'd like to stay cozy in bed and watch movies. We also have a small guest bedroom off the kitchen with a double bed.
Our living, dining and kitchen are open-concept, with all original wood floors and details. Our dining table doubles as our workspace, and we have VERY reliable + fast wi-fi for WFH 👩💻.
We have a HUGE SmartTV in the living area with all of the apps, a SONOS sound system, and the entire home is outfitted with Phillips Hue Smart Lighting 💡 (we love a dimmer in this family).
Guest access
There are about six stairs up to the front door of the apartment, and six steps down into the basement to access the laundry.
Notes
We are on the main floor of a victorian home split into several units, so it is old and a bit quirky. You might occasionally hear the odd sound coming from the other apartments, but everyone is very respectful and communicative, and we're in a very quiet neighborhood so we always have good sleeps.
There is coin laundry in the basement, located through the side door of the house and down six steps.
We might be open to well-behaved pets. Our home is full of beautiful, original mid-century modern furniture that I care very deeply about, so unfortunately, pets that bite, chew, scratch, or have potential to rip furniture (sorry!).

Neighbourhood
Our apartment is the perfect oasis exactly two blocks from both Roncesvalles (for shopping, dining and coffee) and beautiful High Park 🌳 so that you get the best of the city & the feel of the country.
Roncesvalles, a traditionally polish neighborhood, is the friendliest place in Toronto I've ever lived, with lots of young families, and so many dogs! We are a 5-10 minute walk to good coffee, great dining, wonderful boutique shops and independant small businesses, grocers, bottle shops, and convenience stores as well as my personal favourite, The Revue Cinema.
Getting to my home
Our home is conveniently located a short walk from the 504 King and 503 College streetcars.
We are about a 20 minute walk to either the 505 Dundas streetcar, the UP airport express or to Dundas West subway station (you can take a connecting streetcar instead if you can't or don't want to walk).
Nearest airport
Toronto Pearson International Airport is a <20 minute drive or Uber, but the best way to get here (if you're light travellers) is to take the UP Pearson express and get off on the first stop (Bloor), and then walk or take a short streetcar down to our place. It's ± $5/person, comes VERY often, and skips all the traffic.
Getting around
You will be conveniently located a 25 minute drive (or less) to almost every major tourist attraction in Toronto, including:
- the Royal Ontario Museum, Bata Shoe Museum, and Yorkville for shopping.
- Kensington Market, Chinatown, and
- Nathan Phillips Square, Eaton Centre, CN Tower, Harbourfront Centre.
- All major arenas, sporting events, and concert venues (though I'd plan for extra time here!)
- The Aquarium, the Hockey Hall of Fame, TIFF Lightbox Theatre, & more.
We almost never drive right downtown because we're so conveniently located near so many different modes of public transit.
