General overview
My home is located on a corner of two roads with woods across the street and a bus stop within a 47-second-walk that will bring you downtown in 1 hour or 23 minutes by car.
Surrounded by amazing neighbours, wooded trails and lakes within a 5-minute walk, my house is that of an artist and is a work in progress. If you don't mind some minor inconveniences like cupboards of different colours, my house was built by a 60-year-old man in 1990s and for the past four-years it's been an Instagram-worthy renovations project.
Spacious, 3-bedrooms, my house is fun.
My kitchen is a place to cook — I cook sometimes three times a day, dishes of all colours and nations, and have almost every possible gadget you might need. I am just now starting my vegetable garden and don't have any canning equipment, so if your plan was to can some tomatoes while you're in Nova Scotia, just let me know and I will pick some up for you.
My bedrooms are a place to relax — drained in dark moody colours you will get a nice sleep on a king size bed with two blankets (stronger marriage tip right there, lol) and a walk-in closet with lots of space for your stuff (we are putting our clothes away while we travel), and a walk-in shower paradise bathroom.
A kid's bedroom is next to the main bedroom and the main-floor bathroom where you will find a tub and a shower. A cute little reading nook and an egg chair with a double-size bed (fits 5'7" -172 cms adult) with another closet to store your stuff. This bedroom is also colour-drenched in a dark, relaxing colour, creating a cool atmosphere, making you want to hang out there — with the woods across the street for a view, you will forget you are 20 minutes away from the city.
Another bedroom with the same-sized bed and a dedicated office space with a Murphy Queen size bed is found downstairs, as well as the laundry room with a washer and a dryer, a drying rack and a sink to wash your smaller dogs after a walk in the forest nearby.
A rec room with a pull-out couch is also found downstairs - here you can read all the books you find or play a piano or a guitar. There is another 3-pc bathroom with a small walk-in shower as well.
Our yard had a fenced-in area where you or your pup can play — there is a lot of space — whether to just do cartwheels in the grass, or pick berries in the front yard, or sit by a fire pit in the newly fenced-in area.
Large wrap-around porch is a cool place to hang out as well and is decorated with lights and has seating for an evening talk or an afternoon tea.
