Montara is a small, laid-back coastal town surrounded by ocean, beaches, and open space. The neighborhood is quiet and friendly, with coastal trails and scenic walks starting nearby.
Within walking distance, you’ll find a local Mexican restaurant open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, as well as a beloved neighborhood spot for pies and coffee. One of the area’s most beautiful beaches is also nearby.
Half Moon Bay and Pacifica are a short drive away for additional cafés, restaurants, and shops, while San Francisco is easily reachable when you want city life.

Getting Around
Beaches and coastal trails are walkable from the house. A car is recommended for groceries, restaurants, and exploring nearby towns.
Half Moon Bay and Pacifica are a short drive away. Public transport options are limited in Montara, which helps keep the area quiet and uncrowded.
