General Overview

Our home is localised just next to a small park with a swimming pool and lot of birds. We have a garden ( with veggies and fruits) and a covered poarch where you can have relax, eating or playing with the kids. The house has a living room with the kitchen downstairs and the rooms upstairs (four rooms on two different floors). There are two bathrooms, one is downstairs with bath , shower, and toalet, the other is upstairs with a shower and toilet. The train station is close, about 10-12 min walk. The center of Budapest is 20 min by train. We also can provide you with bikes (two for adults and two for kids). There is a nice bike path along the Danube into Budapest or all the way to the Slovak border. During hot summer you can go eithet to the beach of the Danube or there is an aquaworld with slides in the town. It is also possible to rent kayak and paddle in the river. There is tiny ferry to Szentendre island, with beautiful and calm nature, and Szigetcsúcs-sandy beach on its peak( you also can paddle there). If you like excitement or prefer peace and quiet and the gentle embrace of nature, you can achieve it all from here.

-a pink room with a double bed( safe for kids too) and two extra beds for kids. -a guest room with one single bed and a desk. -living room with a sofa bed -extra room with a mattress if necessary - one closed room for our stuff

Notes

We have one dog and a cat. We are happy if you feed them and pet them, but also when we are away usually our friends do this.

Getting to my home

From the airport you can catch a bus to city centre( Deak tér) , change to metro. The train station is at Nyugati pályaudvar ( 2 stops from Deák tér). At Nyugati railway station you have to take train S70. Our nearest strain stop is Dunakeszi-Gyártelep, it is the 6. stop from Nyugati. You can buy month card for the whole Budapest and surrounding area ( Pest megye) that can used for train, tram, bus( except the special airport shuttle service), metro etc so for the whole public transport, price is 10 000Huf.

Getting Around

There are 3 tiny local shops, one batcher with good quality. By bike you can reach farmer market on fridays. Going to Budapest you can take the train. Do hiking you also can take train. You can use our bikes. you can rent kayak, kenoe Or you can rent car.

Ibolya

Dear PLU members, we are a family of four: the almost 7 years old twins (Rózi, Frida), a 16 years old teeneger (Blanka) and their mum, a researcher at a UNI (Ibolya)-four girls. We also have a cat (Szuszu) and a dog (Oli). We live in a town (Dunakeszi) just next to the capital of Hungary. This is a calm place where you can enjoy bird songs (they are just bilding their nest in our garden now), you can visit the sights of Budapest, our capital ( the train connection is good and cheap) but in the same time you can enjoy the most beautiful part of the Danube area- Danube Bend.
