Notes

King's Lynn has a strong market town feel, with regular markets that sell everything from fresh produce to antiques. The town also has a mix of independent shops and chains, offering a range of goods. The Greyfriars Tower and Lynn Museum are also key places to explore for those interested in the town’s past. The town boasts a fascinating mix of medieval, Georgian, and Victorian buildings, as well as some fine examples of 20th-century architecture. The Old Customs House, built in 1683, and the Lynn Museum are must-sees for history buffs, while the town center retains much of its medieval street pattern, giving King's Lynn an unmistakable character. While the town is steeped in history, King's Lynn also offers plenty of green spaces. The nearby Holkham Nature Reserve, Thetford Forest, and Sandringham Estate (the royal family’s country retreat) provide beautiful natural environments to explore, and the coastline is not far away for beachgoers.

Neighbourhood

A quiet and relaxing village feel.

Getting to my home

King’s Lynn is well connected by road and rail to other major cities. It’s about a 1.5-hour drive to Cambridge and roughly 2 hours to London by train, making it a convenient base for both relaxation and exploration of the surrounding areas.

Nearest airport

Norwich, London Luton of London Gatwick.

Getting around

We have a small shop in the village, but for the main town there is a bus service, but a car would be preferable to explore all that the area has to offer.
