General overview

Our home is comfortable with two distinct living areas and a nice updated kitchen. It's all on one level and the family room and master bedroom open to the back yard, which has a sparkling pool and great entertaining area. We are within walking distance of some shops and restaurants and close enough to the beach that we get a coastal breeze. Our location in Long Beach is convenient to everything in Los Angeles and Orange County.

We are completely new to home exchanging. We live in Long Beach, California, within walking distance of some shops and restaurants and easy driving distance to the beach, Disneyland, and all Southern California attractions. We have a 4 bedroom / 2 bathroom home, but functionally right now it's a 2 bedroom / 2 bathroom home with a pull-out sofa as we have one bedroom set up as a home gym and one as a home office. We have a pool with a swim-against current and an outdoor kitchen with gas grill and sink. The home has been nicely updated and has central air conditioning and heat. We are interested in exchanging for a home in Southern France in August / September 2025 -- ideally within 30 minutes of the beach in the Occitanie Region, somewhere between Montpellier and Narbonne.
