General overview

We live in Minoh City in Osaka Prefecture, situated between the cities of Osaka, Kyoto, and Kobe, making it very easy to access these popular tourist cities from our home.

The space

This house, custom-built 20 years ago with attractive brown bricks and Swedish architecture, is a rare find in Japan. located 10 minutes by bus from the train station and 40 minutes from the center of Osaka by car. One minute walk to bus station. We live on the first floor, and the second floor is reserved for our guests. It has 1 double bed, 1 single bed and 1 double extra sofa bed on the floor. The first floor (ground floor) will not be accessible during non-reciprocal exchanges.

Guest access

The second floor includes 1 bedroom, a big living room (as we call it, however it is almost empty and could be used as a bedroom during stay if needed.), and a WC. It has underfloor heating, which is very comfortable during the colder months. We provide a refrigerator, microwave, toaster, and electric kettle on the second floor. The bathroom located on the first floor and has a private changing space with a lock, so you can use it to change clothes as well. So you would have your own toilet for your private use. For the bathroom with shower, we would just agree on what time we each use it. (No need to pas through first floor’s living room) In addition to our private small garden, we’re only a 10-minute walk from a local park, which is perfect for relaxing and a great spot for children to play. The house located in Minoh city . North of Osaka prefecture. From our house, you can take a bus and train to Osaka city center as well as the cities of Kyoto, Nara, Kobe, and Shiga. The nearest train station is Kayano Station. The main attractions of Minoh City are Minoh Waterfall and Katsuo-ji Temple. You can check in the profile fotos. There is a café, a pharmacy and a 24 hours open convenience store. our house. (eight-minute walk)
