General overview
Charming 116 year old farmhouse in the small, quaint town of Maupin, Oregon. The Deschutes River is just across the road with some views of the river from the house. The house has the original wood floors, high ceilings, and is decorated in a classic farmhouse style with many antiques. The house is actually 4 stories high, with a basement apartment, the main story with living room, dining room, kitchen, tv room and a full bath. The second floor has three bedrooms, one is a master bedroom with it's own bath, a laundry room, and the attic has a small room with two twin beds, perfect for kids.
The space
The front porch is comfortable for sitting, a small yard is perfect for a game of corn-hole or sitting in a lawn chair and out back there is a covered patio with a comfortable seating area, outside dining table, Treager BBQ, a garden area with fresh produce (when in season) and a small chicken coop with a few hens that produce fresh eggs daily.
The house has hi speed wifi and multiple smart tv's with Netflix, Amazon Prime and Hulu streaming services.
Guest access
There are stairs into and out of the house and between the floors of the house. Parking is available directly in front of the house.
Notes
There are three cats who live here and have the run of the house. They are inside/outside cats, but spend most of their time lounging inside and getting attention from anyone who will give it. They do need to be fed at least once per day while you are here.
