General Overview
Our home is open plan giving it a cool, sunny and airy ambience. It feels like 'home'. The outdoor entertaining area is all year comfort providing a space to just be and relax whilst overlooking the sparkling swimming pool and green park. Wildlife abounds with seasonal kangaroos dropping by and kookaburras laughing to announce they are close by.
We are very flexible in terms of dates and duration of stay. We are waiting for our children to move into their home and then I will be able to update our calendar. In the meantime, if you are putting together a plan and would like to ask if your dates work, then please just make contact.
The Space
The home has four bedrooms (although one of the bedrooms will be locked off allowing us to store items there). The bedrooms are all large with built in wardrobes and ceiling fans. Two of the bedrooms are also air conditioned.
The main living space incorporates the large kitchen with all the appliances you could need, there are two ceiling fans and an air conditioner in this space. We happen to spend a large amount of our time in the outdoor area and lounging by the pool.
Guest Access
The driveway up to the house has some elevation to it however not an issue for most people. You can drive your vehicle up to the garage. Then it is only one step into the home. From there everything is on one level.

Yasna
Hello from the Sunshine Coast, Queensland, Australia.
My husband, Simon and I have both retired early and love to travel. I owned a real estate business which I sold in 2022 and we now travel every year (one or 2 times a year). Hoping to increase that with exchange.
I am an ABC! (Australian born Croatian); my husband is from Northern Ireland - so a great mix. We are first time exchanges (as 2025).
We have grown up children, lots of family here on the Coast and overseas.
People Like Us is the world's most trusted home exchange community. We believe in sharing, trust, generosity, respect, communication, equality, cooperation, honesty, hospitality, friendship, flexibility and adventure. We take pride in our homes and we care about the environment in which we live: our village, city, country and our planet. We care about the ethos of home exchange and we do it because we love the experience and the friendships that it generates.
