We have a great 2-story apartment in Antalya! It is 3 bedroom/2 bathroom, with a minimalistic style and marble floors that make it perfect for families. It is on the ground floor, so you can enjoy a balcony with private outdoor garden access. We also have a dedicated office/school area in the master bedroom. The beach is just 3km away, easily reached by bike, taxi, car or bus. Experience a family-friendly vibe and create lasting memories in Antalya!
We chose to buy a place in Antalya because this region of Turkey is one of the most beautiful places in the world. Antalya has a sand beach near our house, a pebble beach on the other side of town, and gorgeous cliffs with waterfalls flowing into the Mediterranean in the middle. In the city center, the "Old Town" has ancient walls surrounding a marina. On clear days, you can see the mountains surrounding Antalya on all sides, and go for a jog or bike ride along the path that follows the coastal cliffs. There are also natural parks inland with incredible hiking/mountain climbing, waterfalls, rafting, camping, exploring caves, and all kinds of outdoor activities. If you're interested in history, the Perge ruins are about 30 minutes from our apartment, dating back to 3000 BC. There's a lot more we could tell you about, so feel free to ask us for recommendations!
The space
Upstairs, you will find the (very, very large) master bedroom, which has a sitting area, and an office/school space. There is a large wardrobe for your use. The second bedroom has a single loft bed, and a desk underneath. The third bedroom has two single beds, and another large wardrobe. All 3 bedrooms upstairs have air conditioning.
The bathrooms have both solar heat for the summer and an electric water heater for the winter. The upstairs bathroom has a shower, while the bathroom downstairs has a bathtub/shower combo.
Downstairs, you will find our kitchen fully equipped with all the pots, pans, dishes, and utensils you need. Plus, all the common appliances – microwave, electric kettle, food processor, dishwasher, stove, etc. We do not have a coffee maker, but there is a French press.
The kitchen opens to the balcony, which is on the ground floor and has a sitting area and view of the garden area.
The living and dining room are air conditioned and have space for 6 people, and the dining table can be extended to fit 8 comfortably.
Guest access
You will have private access to the whole apartment. There is a small fourth bedroom downstairs which we keep locked for private storage with clothes and belongings when we are out of town.
A couple rules:
No smoking and no gatherings/parties between 10pm-7am. We have wonderful neighbors who are always happy to help (we hope you meet them!), and we want to respect their peace and quiet.
Notes
Our home is furnished with everything you need to enjoy your stay, including beach towels, bikes, some board games and puzzles, and plenty of books for children and adults. For remote workers, we also have 1Gbps fiber internet. We welcome you to our home!

Neighbourhood
Our neighborhood is awesome! Very quiet and safe, our kids run loose and worry-free every afternoon under the watchful eyes of all the local Turkish grandmothers 😉. There is also a great little park with a basketball court, outdoor exercise equipment and playground for the littles, just 300 meters from our place.
There's also a wonderful Turkish pizza restaurant we love, grilled kebab eatery, a large supermarket, late-night minimarkets, cafes, an international market, and even a barber and pharmacy. All in easy walking distance, <500 meters.
Getting to my home
Only 15 minutes by taxi from the Antalya International Airport. It's very simple and safe to grab a taxi right outside the airport arrivals area. Typical cost is about $8-10 USD directly to our home. Public transportation is mostly great in Antalya but unfortunately there isn't a fast/convenient route directly between the airport and our place, so a taxi is your best option.
Nearest airport
AYT, about 13 kilometers away.
Getting around
The bus/tram in Antalya works pretty well, fares are about $0.70 USD per ride. You can use any major credit card right on the bus, or buy a bus card that you can reload (and will save you some money). Our bus stop is 200 meters from our front door. There is also a convenient taxi stand about 400 meters away. Rental cars are usually $15-$30 per day depending on the season, with weekly and monthly discounts. We recommend renting from GreenMotion by the airport.
We do not have a car to swap, but we do have bikes you are free to use!

Eugenia & Stephen
We're a family of five, mostly commuting between our two homes in Kansas City, USA and Antalya, Türkiye. We've been homeschooling our 3 boys (ages 13, 11, and 8) while traveling for most of their lives. We love experiencing everything together as a family – new cultures, foods, geography and history. We have a high value for education and family, so you can be sure to find lots of books, games, and outdoorsy stuff wherever we live. We're new to the worldschooling scene (we didn't know until recently that there really are, quite literally, "people like us") so my wife and I are excited to join this community. As for interests, I love to research everything and have a background in computers and film, while Eugenia loves baking and is the COO of a marketing agency. We're always looking for new friends around the world.
