Neighbourhood

Our neighborhood is quiet, direct neighbors and friends are happy to assist home exchangers if desired. In three minutes on foot you are in the middle of the forest, shopping facilities can be reached on foot in 10 minutes. The spacious and clean swimming pool is also in our neighborhood, by bike it takes only 3 minutes, to the bathing areas of the river Aare you can drive by bike 12 minutes (bathing places). A gold course can be reached by car in 10 minutes.

Getting Around

Aarau can be reached on foot in 30 minutes. With the bicycles (5 available, 3 of them with electric drive) it is about 10 minutes. The bus runs every 15 minutes and takes 6-10 minutes.

  • Damaris was super friendly and helpful from the start with great communication to all our questions. We loved thier very modern open plan house. And kind offer to use their electric bikes also! Which we used a few times on the back quiet cycle road to explore the area. We loved visiting Zurich city, the museum and beautiful lake all just 30 mins away. With lake lucerne and the breathtaking rhine falls an easy commute not much further away. Thank you for opening your home up to us on our very first PLU trip!
