General Overview

Bright and open-plan 4 bedroom (plus bonus room) 3 bath home in lively South End of Charlotte. Great location in the Southend/LOSO area of Charlotte that is just a mile (or less!) from some of the best restaurants, parks, breweries (Old Meck, Sugar Creek) and only 4.5 miles to Uptown (downtown for the non-locals) and just a 10-15 minute drive to anything there (Spectrum Center, museums, convention center, Knights Stadium, Panthers Stadium). We are also walking distance (about a half mile) to the Light Rail train service that will get you Uptown in about 15 minutes with easy access to everything there as well. You can also park at the train station easily. You are 2 hrs away from the Blue Ridge Mountains (our favorite being the Boone, NC area) and about 3.5 hrs from the coastline (Oak Island and Carolina Beach favorites). You can do a short weekend getaway to destinations such as Charleston, Washington D.C and Atlanta. We're happy to give any recommendations!

Charity D

Hello, we are a family of 4 who stick together traveling around the world! We travel as a little family four-pack: Myself (Charity), Andrew (my husband), Charlie (our 10 year-old daughter) and Max (our 8 year-old son). We are new to PLU but have been exchanging and house/pet-sitting for 10 years+. We love the house-swapping community and the amazing people we meet doing exchanges! Our most memorable exchange so far has been a year-long reciprocal exchange with a family in France!
