We live in a quiet neighborhood, outside the city centre. The house has 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms in total, with an open space kitchen and living room with a fireplace. 

It's a traditional 1995 Algarve-Portuguese house with external white walls and terraces with gates and multiple plants around it. 

The Bougainvillean tree in front of the house provides beautiful flowers during the summer giving a charming outlook to the house.

The beach is 10 mins away by car. 

Things to note:
There's a train station and local buses not far from the house but services are irregular and very limited. Uber or bolt services are relatively cheap when compared to other countries, but if you're looking to explore the Algarve (it's small after all) I'd recommend car hire.

We had an incredible stay at Maria and Alberto’s home! Their home is located close to Lagos and several other cute towns. We explored many gorgeous beaches as well. The home itself is perfect and has everything you could need or want for a home away from home. We felt very comfortable right away. Communication leading up (and of course during) was great. Would highly recommend exchanging with Maria and Alberto!

Hello. We're Maria and Alberto. We live in the Algarve. We lived in London for over 20 years but returned in 2018, not only to return home, but to improve our lifestyle. The Algarve has the best weather especially during the winter. Summers can be a little or very hot, at times which is good for the beach but sometimes too hot to do much more. October and Spring and even winter, on the other hand, tend to be bright and sunny with very pleasant temperatures which allow for long walks on the coast or the countryside. You're welcome to visit.
