Our home is a spacious and comfortable single-level property with 5 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. The kitchen is large and modern, offering plenty of room for cooking and gathering. For most of the year, our garden is ideal for outdoor living, featuring comfortable furniture, a BBQ, a jacuzzi, and a grassy area perfect for relaxing or playing in the sun. We also offer dedicated workspaces, including an outdoor "she-shed" and an indoor office, for those who need to work remotely.
Located just 2.4 kilometers from the beach, our home is surrounded by exciting activities. We are within a two-hour drive of the mountains, the desert, San Diego, Santa Barbara, wine regions, and the Mexican border. Plus, several popular amusement parks, including Disneyland and Knott’s Berry Farm, are less than 30 minutes away. Our location is perfect for easy day trips to a variety of destinations.

Neighbourhood
Our neighborhood in Huntington Beach, California, is a quiet, family-friendly area located in a residential part of the city. It's characterized by well-maintained homes, tree-lined streets, and a peaceful atmosphere. The area offers easy access to nearby parks, schools, and local shopping centers. Being close to the coast, it's just a short drive to the beach, allowing residents to enjoy the coastal lifestyle. We are in a welcoming, suburban community with a balance of convenience and tranquility, perfect for those seeking a relaxed, coastal living experience.
Getting to my home
Our home is within 45 minutes of three major airports; LAX, Long Beach, and John Wayne. A car is highly recommended. Lyft, Uber, or Taxi are also options. Public transportation is not great in Orange County.
Nearest airport
John Wayne Airport (SNA) is approximately 13 miles (21 km) from our home. Long Beach Airport (LGB) is about 9 miles (14.5 km) away, and Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) is 17 miles (27 km) from us.
Getting around
Having a car is highly recommended for getting around, unless you plan to rely on ride-sharing services like Lyft or Uber. While local amenities are close, having your own vehicle provides more flexibility to explore the surrounding areas. However, our town is also great for bike riding, with plenty of scenic routes and trails, making cycling a wonderful option for shorter trips or leisurely rides.
For longer journeys, the train station in nearby Santa Ana offers a convenient alternative. The train runs both south to San Diego, with stops along the way at charming coastal towns, and north toward Los Angeles. Key northern stops include Anaheim, home to Disneyland and the Anaheim Packing District, and Fullerton, known for its vibrant downtown and live music scene. Continuing further north, you’ll reach downtown Los Angeles, a hub of art, culture, and entertainment, and even beyond to destinations like Burbank and Ventura. Whether you prefer to drive, bike, or take the train, there are many transportation options to suit your travel plans.

We are a blended family of 6 with almost adult children. We love taking family trips in Summer and when the kids are not in school. However, my husband and I have a lot of flexibility and often travel without our kids. We all love learning about different cultures and experiencing local life wherever we go. We regularly go to Europe and Costa Rica, and are open to new destinations. We often enjoy weekend getaways and would be open to trades even though we don’t show a lot of availability on the calendar. Just reach out. We are excited to get our 1st exchange in the books!
"We are very interested in staying in Manuel Antonio or Nosara for this trip. We go to Costa Rica often so are open to other regions for future dates as well."

"We are looking for an exchange for this Summer (2025) late June and all of July are possibilities and we are open to differnt regions."
