General Overview

Hi, we're a family of 2 adults and 4 kids. We live in two apartments very close to each other and we exchange with both if needed.

The Space

Two-room apartment with a bathroom and a large kitchen with a dining table. There is direct access to a cozy, enclosed courtyard with a playground. There is a living room with a sofa bed and a children's room with one bed. If there is a need for extra sleeping spaces, just write, and we will figure it out.

Located in a quite part of Copenhagen with a big park with sheeps and alpakas and a small beach nearby. 

There is a grocerystore just by the apartment and a metrostation a few minutes by foot. From here central Copenhagen is just 10 minutes away.

In the area you can visit Karens Minde, a recently renovated area with rabbits, chickens and horses.

Close to the area you can visit Teglholmen and Sluseholmen (Venice of Copenhagen). Here you'll find both harbour baths and a harbour bus, that'll take you through the waterfront of Copenhagen.

Getting Around

The easiest way to get around is by bus, metro and train. The busstop is just by the apartment. 
It's possible to borrow bikes as well (we've got a big electric cargobike). 
From Sluseholmen it's also possible to use the "harbourbus" that'll take you through the harbour of Copenhagen.

We had a lovely stay and really appreciated how welcoming and kind our host was. She arranged for her mother-in-law to meet us when we arrived, which made check-in easy, and generously let us use the cargo bike during our stay. The location was fantastic, with wonderful playgrounds and so much to enjoy nearby. We quite enjoyed our daily walks to the beach less than a mile away, and the market across the street. The home had a relaxed, lived-in feel. We used her apartment that had only a sofa bed and twin bed, so it was fine for a short stay. If you're used to a more casual home exchange and not expecting an AirBNB feel, it can work for you. Thank you for accommodating us and for the great communication. You hit the jack pot with an amazing mother in law also ☺️ wishing you guys the best!

Communication with Jonas and Asta was excellent. We quickly arranged our exchange for dates convenient for both families. Jonas met us at the metro station and took us to the apartment. The home is in a very convenient location—just five metro stops from the center of Copenhagen. It had everything we needed for a one-week stay in the city.

Jessica's place is great. Modern and comfortable, it could easily cater to both us and our 4 kids. We felt very welcome. The location is quite and the drive to Hamburg is not too long, so it really was quite perfect. The arrival was easy and thorough. We can absolutely recommend.

We had a very nice stay at Nicolas place in Hamburg. Nicola greeted us upon arrival and was a great host, helping us throughout the stay and giving ideas of what to do and see whilst in Hamburg. The apartment has everything you need and is located in a cozy area, near the big lake. We would highly recommend this place for anyone visiting Hamburg.

Kristine and her three children were great guests in our apartment. Communication before arrival went smoothly and they left everything in perfect condition. We had a really great time at Corinnas house. The room and bathroom was very nice and we had everything we needed. Corinna was not home when we stayed there, but her daughter was very helpful. Lüneburg is a very beautiful and cosy city. We definitely want to come back some time. We can absolutely recommend this place.
