Neighbourhood

Newquay is a lively surfing town. In the peak summer season it is busy with holidaymakers, with the downside that it can be noisy at night especially at weekends. Out of peak season it is much less busy, and quieter. The Island is completely separate and private.

Nearest airport

The Island is just over 15 minutes by rental car or taxi from Newquay airport. There are direct flights from many airports in the UK, including London, as well as some airports in continental Europe.

Getting Around

There are plenty of shops, bars, restaurants, entertainment places etc within a few minutes' walk. You can travel to Newquay by car (we have a two car garage), train (the station is walking distance), airplane (Newquay airport is 15-20 minutes by cab or rental car) or coach. You do not need a car to get anywhere in Newquay as everywhere is in walking distance, or taxi if you prefer. If you wanted to explore the rest of the wonderful county of Cornwall you would be advised to rent a car.
