We have designed our home to be an outdoor oasis in the summer. We spend nearly all of our time in the garden, on the terrace, and in the pool. We have a huge garden with many games such as cornhole, mollky, and petanque, and lots of spots to sit in the sun or shade. For the cooler months, our motto for home design is "cozy". We love to cuddle up on the couch next to the fireplace. Our home is the perfect example of a South of France country home paradise in all seasons.
The region we live in is very attractive to tourists. We often have Belgians, English, Dutch, and German tourists here in the summer, however, it is not "touristy". The town we live in is a hidden gem! There are 9 wineries in our town. We also have a beautiful "centre-ville"/downtown area with many delicious bars, restaurants, shops, and cafes. There is a river just a few steps from our home where you can kayak or hike to swimming holes. We are 45 min drive to Saint-Tropez and have plenty of pleasant little towns and cities around us for strolling around, having a coffee or wine, and looking at the architecture and views of Provence.
The space
We have a fully equipped and recently renovated kitchen with all new appliances. We have an open space living-room and dining room with a pull-out sleeper couch, armchairs, fireplace, TV, and in the dining room seats 8 people.
There are 4 bedrooms with the following beds: 1 king-size, 2 twin beds, 1 queen size, 1 double size pull-out couch in the fourth bedroom that also serves as an office.
We have 2500 meters squared (around half an acre) of land with fig, pomegranate, loquat trees and olive trees, grape vines, berry bushes, rose bushes and more. We also have a large terrace with pool and BBQ. We spend all of our time on this terrace in the summer! It's the perfect space for a summer BBQ party and rosé.
We have lots of boardgames and yard games (petanque, mollky, cornhole) and various sports and camping equipment.

Allison
Hello! We are Charles and Allison. We live in the beautiful south of France in the heart of Provence. Charles was born and raised in the south of France and Allison grew up in New York. We met in San Francisco in 2020, where we both lived for many years. We have no children, except our little dog who we treat like our baby. We love to travel- Allison has visited 30 countries, and Charles has visited 24, and we hope to keep that list growing! We love to ski, hike, camp, fish, rock climb, play tennis, and we love bird watching and boardgames. We also love to cook and go out to eat. We are total foodies! More than anything, we love to meet new and interesting people around the world.
