General Overview

Our home is located in a vibrant central area of London with great public transport, lots of amenities and wonderful restaurants and coffee shops.

The Space

Our new build apartment is airy and modern, stylishly furnished and very comfortable. It has large south-facing windows that look out over London (you can see the Shard, the BT Tower and Canary Wharf from our living room!), a beautiful bright living room to hang out in and a fully equipped kitchen. There's an outside balcony space with lots of plants, Netflix on the TV, high-speed wi-fi, two bathrooms (one with bath and one with shower) and two bedrooms (one is the master bedroom with a double bed and the other is a kids bedroom with bunk beds). We have a third bedroom that is currently used as our baby's room (with a baby cot) and office space.

Guest Access

Our home is fully accessible - we're located on the 4th floor with lift access and no stairs.

Notes

Please note that our cat Miffy stays at home with you while we’re away, so we ask that you feed her daily.

Neighbourhood

Our home is in incredible Hackney, a vibrant, bustling and central neighborhood - one of the most interesting places in London! Lots of parks nearby, and amazing restaurants, shops and cafes around the corner. Ridley Road market is our local outdoor market, open every day except Sunday.

Nearest airport

London has several airports, all of which are approximately one hour away: Heathrow, Gatwick, Luton and Stansted. London City airport, located in East London, is about 45 minutes away and the easiest to get to. Eurostar terminal at St Pancras is about 25 minutes away.

Getting Around

Our area is incredibly well-connected to the rest of London with great public transport. Two overground rail stations within a few minutes' walk, and many bus routes that take you into the heart of the city.

Leanne and Colin

We are a travel-loving family with two daughters, a 7-year old and a 2-year-old - and an adventurous spirit! We live in a beautiful modern home in central London. Our cat Miffy stays at our place while we’re away. We are open to long weekend and longer exchanges across Europe and the UK. Also open to exchanges in Vancouver and Victoria, BC every summer as we often travel back to visit family during the school holidays.
