General overview
We live in an adorable house in Santa Monica, California in a residential neighborhood close to the ocean, hiking, and all that Los Angeles has to offer.
The space
We have a standalone one-floor house on a quiet street that has a small front yard, driveway, and cute tiny porch.
It is a two bedroom house, one with a king bed and one with a crib. We have two full bathrooms - one off the primary bedroom (with a shower/no tub) and one in the main hallway that has a shower and bathtub. We also have a huge couch that people can sleep on and a large Queen size air mattress.
We have an extra large living room with a working fireplace and a large smart TV. There is also a kids play corner with a play couch, baby "pen" filled with toys and fun kids activities.
Our kitchen is large and opens to the dining area with a table that has four chairs and we also have two high chairs (one that attaches to the table, and one regular one that pulls up to the table).
For amenities, we have wifi, cable, laundry in-unit, central heating and window units for AC. We also have a Ring security system and a ring doorbell.
Guest access
It is a one-story house with two small stairs on the porch to get to the front door.
It is a keyless entry with a code that will be provided.
We also have guest parking passes available for street parking.
Notes
We love our house! It is baby/kid friendly, dog-friendly, and people friendly! With easy keyless access and parking right in front of the house, your stay should be super easy and fun!

Neighbourhood
Santa Monica is an adorable neighborhood. Our area of Santa Monica is very residential, but with coffee shops and cafes walking distance from our house. It is about 3 miles to the beach and even closer to get to cute stores and local parks. It is a great location for visiting Los Angeles because it is centrally located on the west side and an easy drive to Brentwood, Westwood, Century City, Beverly Hills, etc.
Getting to my home
Although we are near the train, the train systems in LA are not the best and I would definitely suggest renting a car or using uber/lyft (which there are plenty of). Flying into LAX is easy and it is about a 20min drive to our place from the airport!

LAX - 20min drive (but can be longer with traffic)
Getting around
There are coffee shops and cafes within walking distance, but a car (or uber/lyft) will be necessary to get around the rest of Santa Monica/LA.
