General Overview

House description Nicely renovated two floor duplex with garden in a quiet neighborhood, close to Berchem train station and 15min to Antwerp city centre with public transportation. 3 minute walk to restaurants, shops, and grocery stores. Perfect for families with kids.

The Space

We offer you a full equipped home with 3 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, separate toilet, dining room, open kitchen and living area, and a private garden with terrace. Our duplex is part of a 100 years old house that has recently been renovated creating a unique combination between old features and modern comfort. The duplex is filled with light and it also has a nice garden with a terrace. The duplex consists of the first 2 floors in a 4 story house. On the ground floor you have a bedroom with a queen size bed, the dining room, the open kitchen and living area, a toilet, and the terrace and garden. On the in-between floor you have a big restroom with a bad and a walk in shower. On the second floor you have two bedrooms. The master bedroom has a king size bed and the second bedroom has a queen size. The house can host 8 adults, 2 people per bedroom and 2 extra people in the sofa in the living room that can be transformed into a double bed or two single beds. We offer good comfortable beds. We also have a baby-bed. Since we have a 5 year old boy and a 2 year old boy, you will have access to other necessities for kids, like an eating chair, baby playing box, and many toys. The kitchen is fully equipped : fridge, freezer, oven, microwave, dishwasher, coffeemaker, etc. And we provide you with tea, coffee, oil, herbs, toiletpaper, kitchentowels, so you can feel at home. The tram stop to go to the city center is 4 minutes away. There is also a city bike station 3 minutes away where you can rent a city bike (velo antwerpen) Within walking distance you can find: - Berchem Station - art-nouveau neighboorhood Cogels-Osylei - Zurenborg, a neighboorhood with lots of restaurants, bars and playgrounds - central park, to relax, go jogging, take a picnic, playground - shopping street (driekoningstraat) The tramway and busstop are 4 minutes away and help you to explore the rest of the city. Parking We have one parking spot in an indoor garage one block away from the house. If you come with more than one car there is always parking around the house but since we are still in the city you have to pay to park from Monday to Saturday from 9:00-19:00. It is 3.80 euro per day.

Notes

Bikes We have 3 bikes that might be available. 2 women's bikes. 1 gazelle cabby bike with room for 2 or 3 kids. It also has the maxi-cosi adapter with the maxi-cosí baby seat to transport one baby and two kids. Please make sure to ask us to know if the bikes will be available during your stay.

We live in a nice neighborhood close to shops and restaurants. The shopping street of Berchem is 3 minutes by foot and there you can find everything.
