General Overview

Our home is so open spaced.  It has a choice of 4 bedrooms and two bathrooms plus a powder room.  We love it's position, a 6 minute stroll to Alex Beach which is next to Mooloolaba beach and heaps of eateries and live music.

We have two separate living areas to watch TV and a large kitchen plus outdoor wine fridge and BBQ.

A large deck to use in Summer for eating or a dining table inside for the cooler weather.  The table outside seats 10.

We back onto Alex forest, so you can just sit and relax and hear the bird noises or talk to a visiting Kookaburra.  It's so peaceful, but so close to the beach.

We supply beach chairs, a cabana, beach towels and an esky for food and drinks.

We also can arrange a car swap with a normal excess, payable by you, but no extra excess for International drivers.

I like to cook, so I have every appliance you will ever need, or I will leave you a list of local takeaways.  

I take a lot of pride in my home, so all the bedlinen is beautiful and our beds are so very comfy.  But if you expect shining clean windows, you may be disappointed.

We have no pets, just some plants that need watering.  Their are stairs leading to the 4th bedroom, so you may need to consider that, plus we are off the ground in a classic style Queenslander with steps at the back and front.

We have gorgeous timber flooring in most of the house.  Three aircons and ceiling fans inside and out.  

It's so well positioned, close to everything, and a short drive to the hinterlands for hiking and gorgeous views.

A 30 minute drive to Australia Zoo, where you can see all of our native animals in their natural habitat.  See pics.

We had such a wonderful week at Catherine’s home and felt truly comfortable there from the moment we arrived. There were five adults in our group, and the house was incredibly spacious, so we all had plenty of room. The house itself is beautiful, very large, and extremely well equipped, everything you could possibly need was available. We especially loved spending time on the terrace and in the large living room and kitchen area, which were perfect for relaxing and enjoying time together. Everything was spotlessly clean when we arrived, which made us feel very welcome. Communication with Catherine was excellent throughout. She was very friendly and helpful, and we received clear instructions for arrival and for the house, which made everything easy and stress-free. The location is fantastic. There is a beautiful beach at the end of the street, and nearby there are lovely cafés and restaurants. We truly had such a lovely week and would happily have stayed even longer. Catherine is a wonderful host, and we would warmly recommend both her and her beautiful home to anyone looking for a fantastic place to stay.

Catherine and Rob's home is absolutely beautiful and has been renovated to the highest standard. It is so tastefully presented and the gardens are pristine. We were welcomed with a very lavish goodies basket and left to enjoy everything that the Sunshine Coast has to offer. We walked to the beach, to Cotton Tree and Mooloolaba and had a beautiful day trip to Montville. Catherine and Rob have done a fantastic job creating a beautiful and welcoming home. The house is spotlessly clean and backs onto a beautiful forest

Hi there fellow travellers.  We are an older couple, 66 and 61, quiet non party people, no pets.  We live on the beautiful Sunshine Coast in QLD, our home is a 7 minute stroll to the most perfect beach, next to Mooloolaba Beach which is very well known.

Our home is a large home, 5 bedrooms and three bathroom, although, the Master upstairs is not available to our guests.  However, you still have another Master with ensuite and 3 other queen size bedrooms to stay in.

We back onto Alex Forest so your visit is tranquil and quiet, you can breakfast on our large back deck and relax into the bird sounds, including our friendly Kookaburras who come and sit on the back fence.

We have 2 living areas so you can relax without the kids and we can also offer a car in exchange.
