General Overview
One of the things we love most about living here is the beautiful, temperate weather—consistently between 55°F and 75°F year-round. Plus, we’re in an incredibly convenient location, just 7–10 minutes from San Francisco International Airport (SFO).
When we bought this home, it was the spacious backyard "in-law"/guest house—what we fondly call the cottage—that truly won us over. It sits just steps from the main house in its own separate building, offering both privacy and comfort. It’s the perfect retreat for guests!
The Space
Our Cottage is an 800 sq ft open studio with a pull-down queen-size bed, a queen-size sofabed, full kitchen, bathroom: shower, toilet, and sink (no bathtub), dining table that seats 10 people, and a 70-inch TV with attached stereo system. There’s no air conditioning, as temperatures rarely rise above 80°F—typically only for one to three weeks out of the entire year.
Guest Access
We kindly ask all guests to walk "silently" along the side of the main house, as there’s a bedroom located right at the corner when entering/exiting the garden path to/from the cottage. You’ll have easy access with a digital key, or we’re happy to provide a regular key if you prefer!
Notes
The clothes Washer and Dry are in the main house. We can arrange if and when you need to do your laundry.
We have a koi fish pond as a hospital for my husband's clients' sick fish.

Neighbourhood
Parking on the street is first-come, first-served, and we ask that you do not park in front of some of our neighbors' houses as a courtesy. Our area is safe and generally pretty quiet. We do lock the doors at night for peace of mind and out of habit.
Getting to my home
From SFO exit the airport towards Highway 101 South and take the first exit to Millbrae Avenue. We will give further directions once accommodations are confirmed.

Working in the airline industry for 30 years has made flying standby a central part of my lifestyle. Because of this, my travel plans can sometimes be spontaneous—so I truly appreciate your patience and flexibility with any last-minute questions or requests to stay. Although, I do try to plan and inquire ahead of time when possible.
Traveling is my greatest passion. I love meeting new people, experiencing different cultures, trying delicious foods, and dancing whenever I can. One of my most unforgettable adventures was living and working in Rome, Italy, for two years back in 1991—it was a fabulous experience that still inspires me today.
My husband is a koi fish doctor and runs his own business maintaining his clients' ponds. Our 24-year-old son is a talented and stylish makeup artist whose creativity shines through in everything he does. He's passionate about makeup above all, but he also enjoys singing, dancing, music, traveling, and spending time with friends. He’s now living in New York, and I hope to visit him often in the Spring, Fall, and long weekends.
We’re all excited about the possibility of connecting with you—and we truly look forward to meeting you!
