Old stone cottage but recently fully renovated. Located on the Beara Peninsula, West Cork, Ireland. Located along Irish Wild Atlantic Way in a beautiful location between hills and sea. Quiet but not isolated, close to a local traditional Irish pub and within close driving distance from all local amenities. Great base to explore Castletownbere, Allihies Beach, Dursey Island, Beara Island and other surrounding areas.
The space
Two storey house with a living room with a fireplace and a pull away double sofa-bed (sleeps 2) and a kitchen downstairs and two bedrooms (1 double and 1 single) and a bathroom with a shower upstairs. Fully equipped and comfortable all year round. Small garden and a patio available for use.
Guest access
Upstairs access required for bedrooms/ toilet/ shower. Accessible through a steep staircase so may not be suitable for very small children or people with mobility issues.
Notes
There is a small, unsecured stream in the garden so please carefully consider if you have very small children as they may need to be fully supervised in the garden.

Small stone beach very close by, nice hikes and cycling routes. Good access to other beautiful spots in Beara Peninsula. Surrounded mostly by fields and farms. Good sports for sea angling. Great fresh local seafood available.

Accessible through car only. Approximately 2 hour drive from Cork City, 1:40h from Killarney, 4:40h from Dublin and 3:20h from Shannon.
