General overview

Welcome to our charming apartment in East London, located between Dalston and Canonbury. Our spacious and cosy home offers a blend of modern comforts with cosy touches. From the open-plan living area to the private courtyard, it’s the ideal place to unwind after a busy day in the city. The Flat The flat boasts a light-filled, spacious living room with a modern aesthetic with soft furnishings and stylish décor. The open-plan kitchen is well-equipped, making it perfect for those who love to cook. The bedroom is peaceful and sleek as well as the contemporary bathroom. At the rear of the flat is a private courtyard, perfect for enjoying a quiet morning coffee or an evening glass of wine Neighborhood - North / East London A 5 minute walk away is Newington Green, you’ll find some of the area’s best-loved coffee spots and bakeries right on your doorstep such as Jolene's, Farmer’s Mistress and Perilla, both offering artisanal coffee and freshly baked pastries. We recommend Church Street in Stoke Newington for food / quaint vibes. It's close to Clissold Park, a stunning local space (our favourite) for a coffee and walk. Food recommendations: The Acoustic in Stoke Newington - affordable, Mediterranean and friendly service. Esca De Cuba in Dalston - Cuban / Spanish hybrid at an affordable price in a great location. Oi Vita on Newington Green for some of the best pizza in London, The Good Egg – Middle Eastern-inspired brunch. Rasa N16 – South Indian (Vegetarian). Leisure A short walk takes you to the canal paths, perfect leisurely strolls connecting you to nearby Angel. Angel is renowned for its diverse shopping scene, from quirky boutiques to larger retailers. Go west on the canal, you'll end up in London Fields, one of the trendiest areas in London. Super cool cafes, amazing farmers Market on the weekend, close to Victoria Park too. Transport Links The flat is well-connected, making it ideal for both commuting and exploring London. Dalston Kingsland and Canonbury Overground stations are a 5-10 minute walk away, providing easy access to Shoreditch, the City, and East London’s hottest spots. If you need to get into Central London, Highbury & Islington station is a short bus ride away, connecting you directly to the Victoria Line for quick access to Oxford Circus and beyond. Bus routes from Newington Green and Dalston also offer excellent connections across the city. Bars and Nightlife Dalston is famous for its nightlife. The Dalston Roof Park offers views of the skyline along with cocktails, while Brilliant Corners is a laid-back spot for craft beers and vinyl records. For a more intimate experience, Three Sheets in lower Dalston is a minimalist cocktail bar highly praised with inventive drinks and cosy atmosphere. In summary, the flat and location provides the perfect mix of peacefulness on an evening still with the urban excitement. Thank you for reading and hope to host you!

Michael & Libby

We're a creative, travel-loving couple from York, now living in London. We’re both both 27, originally from city of York and now living in the heart of London. Together, we run an art brand with a shop in Shoreditch. Our work is inspired by exploring new places for both work and leisure. Our home is in a lively part of East London, close to great cafes, shops, and transport links, offering the perfect spot to experience the city. We often travel for both work and leisure and are happy to exchange homes or offer ours while we’re away. If you’re looking for a comfortable home in London, drop me a message!
