Stockbridge is a fantastic neighbourhood in Edinburgh! We are steps from a wonderful park with great views, Inverleith Park, and only a few minutes walk from the Royal Botanic Gardens and the Water of Leith. On our street you will find lots of independent shops, cafes and great restaurants, as well as local grocery shops and wine stores. We love the vibe.
Our flat has huge windows and high ceilings. It’s a listed Georgian building with lots of beautiful period features. We renovated it in 2020 so the kitchen and two bathrooms are really new and functional. The two bedrooms are very big! Both have super king/double beds. There is a spacious living room. There is a third small bedroom (office) that we use to store our stuff when we are away. The space is super child and baby friendly as we have two little ones.
Nina the cat is a lovely addition to our home. She is an indoor cat, very much a people’s cat and she adores children. She is truly sweet and incredibly patient. She requires minimal care but we will be really grateful to our guests for looking after her while you are there 🐈⬛🧡

Fanny
Hi! We are Fanny, Matteo, Elio (6) and Gaia (nearly 3) We are an Italian family currently living in Edinburgh, Scotland. Fanny is a Child and Adolescent Psychotherapist. Matteo is a web developer. We moved from Rome, Italy, to London in 2011 and after 9 years we decided we needed a change and came up north, looking for a better quality of life, more green spaces and less commuting. Edinburgh is all of that and a lot more. We are very happy here! But we can’t sit still. We love travelling (Fanny is the planner and bucket list creator, Matteo is the driver), eating and cooking good food, wine, stories… Elio is the visual artist. Gaia the performative one!
Nina (named after Nina Simone) is our sweet and loving musical cat 🐈⬛
