General overview
Enjoy the silence and beautiful nature in our beloved holiday home, and experience some of the area's and Denmark's many special attractions.
Sit in the living room and enjoy the view of the water, together with the deer and birds in the garden in front. Or spin around and enjoy a good movie while the wood-burning stove creates warmth and cosiness right next to you. The kitchen is well equipped so that delicious food can easily be prepared, while the rest of the family is close by. The house also has lots of games and drawings for cozy time and presence.
The cottage is located in a very idyllic and peaceful area, with a completely indescribable tranquility around the house. Take a lovely walk in the beautiful area, along one of the many hiking trails along the water, or in the forest just behind. Come home to cosiness in the cottage with maybe freshly baked buns and hot cocoa and get warm in front of the wood-burning stove. In the summer, life can be enjoyed to the fullest with outdoor games in the garden, or on one of our two lovely terraces, where the sun shines all day. The holiday home creates cosiness at all times of the year.
Walk down to the sea in the morning and experience the beautiful sunrise over the Baltic Sea, or enjoy the sunset over Mariagerfjord, which also provides the most beautiful sky over the cottage. If you are lucky enough to spend the night in the cottage when the Northern Lights appear in Denmark, then you can have the wildest experiences here, as it is completely dark and free of light pollution.
The life by the fjord is cozy, and you will experience sailboats and ships sailing quietly by. The water in the fjord is usually calm and therefore perfect for paddle boarding or kayaking (Can be rented nearby). The beach is very child-friendly, as the water level is very low far out. Here you can catch both shrimp and crab as well as fish. In addition, the water's edge is rarely shared with many others, so here you can usually lie in peace and quiet.
NOTE: There is new wooden flooring in the living room and kitchen as well as new garden furniture on both terraces made in the summer of 2024 - This is not seen in the pictures!
The space
The cottage contains a cozy living room with a wood-burning stove and exposed beams, in open connection with the kitchen and dining area. From here you have access to a beautiful northwest facing terrace with a gazebo and a fantastic view of Mariager Fjord! From the living room you will find 2 good rooms and access to a northeast-facing terrace - also with a view of Mariager Fjord.
From our living room you will also find our hallway with access to the bathroom.
The lovely cottage annex has a room with a bed 180x200 and a private bathroom.
The holiday home is divided into two sections, so couples, teenage children or grandparents can retreat to their own section.

Hello everyone.
We are a family of 3 who would love to see more of the world.
We are Claus and Helle and our daughter Celine born in 2013. Before we had Celine, we both traveled a lot, and loved all the places we have seen. Now we are ready to see the world as a family.
In the summer of 2023, we bought our holiday home, which was love at first sight. We love being there, but we also love being able to give others a wonderful holiday.
As this is our second home, it is usually possible for us to welcome others, and it is not important for us to be able to exchange at the same time, or we accept a Globe.
We are a very quiet and calm family, who always take good care of other people's things.
We look forward to being a part of PLU and seeing what experiences and memories it can create for us.
Many greetings
Celine, Claus and Helle
