Our home is located in the beautiful and very historical area of Keash, Ballymote in the North West of Ireland. This house was originally built in the 1850s and until we made some minor renovations in the past few years, it would have been your typical three roomed Irish cottage with a large fireplace at the heart of the dwelling. It is full of character and charm from its thick stone built walls and small doorways and windows, to the various steps throughout the house.
