General Overview

Lovely wee A frame home with views of Mount Ruapehu. Skiing winter, mountain biking and hiking in summer . Close to both Turoa and Whakapapa ski fields. Also great base to explore Tongariro National park including the Tongariro crossing. Ohakune is a friendly town with great coffee, restaurants and bars. Come and be active or relax the choice is yours

The Space

A cost small home with everything you need to make your stay comfortable. Open plan living and bathroom downstairs and bedrooms upstairs. A sunny deck where you can relax and enjoy views of the mountain. Plenty of extra blankets, sheets and towels for your use.

Guest Access

The stairs to the bedrooms are quite step and narrow - please be careful with them

Notes

We do have cats - we have a feeder that can be topped up by yourselves or neighbour if needed.

Located in a quiet street within walking distance to coffee shop, supermarket, restaurants and bars. Getting to my home

Ideally you will need a car, however the Auckland to Wellington train does stop at Ohakune Junction - which is approx 20 mins walk away. And the Inter City bus stops in Ohakune.

Nearest airport

By car Auckland is 4.5 hours away, Wellington is 3 hours.

Getting Around

Walking distance to the main shopping area which includes supermarket, cafes, restaurants and bars. Ideally you will need a car to explore all that the area has to offer.
